ABOUT KAZUKO RYU KARATE ASSOCIATION

Kazuko Ryu Karate Association is an established independent Karate Association based in Salford, Greater Manchester. We are a member of IMASA (Independent Martial Arts Sports Association).

 

Our aim is to bring high quality, accessible and affordable karate sessions to the whole community. Our unique mix of old and new karate makes Kazuko Ryu Karate unique and one of the best and most desirable karate groups in Greater Manchester. We are one of the only not for profit karate organisations in the country this allows us operate in a different way to most karate organisations.

Our senior instructors have 40+ years experience of karate between them, during this time they have personally won many championships and coached a large number of national, international and world medallists, in addition to developing many intelligent karateka through the years. Our senior instructors are supported by a dedicated team of instructors and assistant instructors. Within our association we have many competitive karateka that are local, national, international and world winners and medallists who are all on hand to give you best karate experience on offer.

Kazuko Ryu Karate is open to everyone aged 5 and above, whether you're a complete novice or a black belt our lessons cater for everyone so no one is left out. Our lessons are a mixture of traditional, modern and sport karate, this allows our instructors to get the best out of each students and this method keeps all students engaged. 

We are a non profit and politic free karate association who puts our members first.

There are no joining fees and no contracts unlike many other karate associations. We aim to keep the art as low cost as possible for everyone.

Here at Kazuko Ryu we study the Japanese style of karate known as Shito - Ryu. Born in the 1930's in Osaka and regularly practiced in Okinawa (Japan). Shito Ryu is today one of the most popular style of karate in the world.
